Drie Chapek’s approach to painting is both physical and intuitive, allowing each surface to hold traces of movement, memory, and change.
Chapek deliberately explores how shifting perspective and visual illusion in OBJECTIVE BILLOWING disrupt familiar ways of seeing and thinking. Using both billowing shapes and linear patterns, the artist constructs a dynamic visual field in which perception is continually negotiated.
